Clintwood has not faced a team as fast as Burton. It should be a great game and I think the outcome will be close

I understand being confident, but honestly who has Burton played? How many potential playoff teams have they played, with the exception of Kelly and PV?

it's 50 members... size-wise PV, JIB certainly compare (JIB is bigger?), and not that much more than JJK..

When I was in HS in the Pound band (80's & 90's) clintwood actually had a great band - and good size.

In general I think it's a good idea - then again I'm a biased band geek.
It's also a good way for UVA-Wise to 'advertise' their growth to the general public (another reason why they were an exhibition band at McChesney last week).

If they're to perform their marching show the crowd will love it - the drum line is just incredible.

I could see it being a great evening for the crowds with a good game and a good band on the side.

They took a count of how many were interested in band in the 3 high schools, only around 25 to 30 signed up. It is a shame, but with DC's budget, what would you suggest? Hopefully, there will be more interest in the future.

As bad as the band was near the end, it was a mercy killing in my opinion.

At one time Clintwood had one of the best bands around and I feel bad that I never truly apreceated them until they were gone.

When i was playing our band was not that good it had maybe 10 members if they were lucky and could barely play the school song, but i know i was told that clintwood used to have one of the best around.
